Non-dairy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Our family is obsessed with CHOCOLATE so these cookies are the result of many experiments of trying to find sutibl substitutions for the everyday dairy products.
We like to double the batch and keep them in the mixing bowl in the fridge so that we can just take out the dough and make ooey-gooey fresh ones every night!
Makes about 2 dozen Time cook: 11 min depending on your oven. Oven temp: 375
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
1/2 c.white Sugur
1 tsp.vanilla
1 egg
2/3 c.Crisco
1 1/2 c.Flour
1/2tsp.baking soda
a dash of salt
And of course Enjoy Life Chocolate chips ( we eyeball it)
optional but yummy: 1/2 c. Chopped Pecans, 1/2 oatmeal (take out a 1/2 c. of flour when using oatmeal.
Cream the crisco,sugars,vanilla and eggs. Add the rest of the ingrediants and mix. Put the batter in the refriderator for 1 hour (optional but helpfull for scooping) if you leave it for more than an hour or overnight thaw for 45 min before forming balls. bake at 375 for about 11 min.
