Grand Califronian :) :) :) :) Price $ 300 to 2,000

This hotel is a splurge however it's an experience i would recomend to everyone to do once.

There are several upsides to staying here but there is also downsides as it is a hotel. The proximity to the parks is great in fact it is the closest to the actual gates and you can use the private entrance to CA Park that is exclusevlly for guests. I recomend going to the gates if you are a get up and go in the morning but the private entrance is great to go back take a nap get lunch or other stuff. The pool is Ok nothing really amazing about it there is a slide that is enjoyable for younger kids but pretty boring for others. The resturants are so-so i would recomend walking to Steakhouse 55 rather than eating at the Napa Rose. The bunk beds in the rooms were a great hit!!! There was piano playing and storytelling at night that the kids really enjoyed ( after getting their PJ's on they'd go downstairs and listen. Over all a could hotel but the price needs to come down.

Homewood Suites (Convention Center) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Price: 129-200

This hotel is the BEST hotel we've ever stayed at while at Disneyland!!!!!!!!!! We got there three days after it opened so i will admit that there were a few mix-ups such as the fridge stopped working but the mechanics were quick respectful and friendlly. the staff was very nice and one of our favorite clerks from th oher homewood transfered from there and is now front desk manager!! We checked in and went to our room we booked the studio and we are so glad we did it was cozy and confortable. The room was masive and while some parents would prefer the suites because of the closed off space we preferred the open area and beacause no one stayed up after the kids went to bed there was no issue with the studio. The kitchen was clean and housekeeping was great. Breakfast was amazing (because of our allergies we didnt have as much as others but fruit, bacon and juice was great. the evening social is amazing and a great snack or dinner before heading up to the room. We loved the complementry drinks. The beds were comfy and clean. As mentioned we did have trouble with the fridge and the staff offered another room but it was a suite and when we went up to look at it we found it was VERY cramped and dark. So they gave us that room for the fridge and the room we had already upacked into which was great.!!! the pool is going to be great it was december when we went so we didnt get to enjoy it but the basketball court, putting green, game room, grills and movie screen was awesome. Best of all it is a five minute walk to the Toy Story Parking Lot were you can hop on a bus at the park or lot and be at the park in 7 min or because we are get there 1 hr. early people hop on an ART for 5 dollars and get there in 5 min. This is overall the best hotel ever.
