Genesis ( Traveling through the bible)

Welcome to your first stop on my journey through the bible. GENESIS. The begining.Please unstand that this sumary is NOT to reading the actual Word of God. Especially since this is just small bits that i found really cool.

Genesis 1

vs. 26 In OUR image...... pretty cool and encouraging Would you cretique God's Looks? No well thank don't critique yours why? because you are made in the image of God !

vs. 30 Every green plant......... God gave us yummy and healthy food!

Genesis 2

vs. 8 Garden in the east

Marked by four headwaters: The Pishon( which runs through the land of Havilah where there is Gold, Pearl and onyx stone are many. The Gihon ( which runs through Cush), The Tigris ( which runs through Ashur), and the Euphrates.

vs. 18 Help-Meet............

vs. 23 she shall be called woman ( Woah-man!!) We should live with NO SHAME!!!!!

Genesis 3

vs.1 Satan's Plan For Decieving The World

Step 1: Take a small bit of truth and twist it so that the Chosen People of God get confused and belive me.

Step 2 : make them doubt God.

Step 3: Make them feel shame after theydo what you wanted and let them hide from God.

Step 4: Make them afraid and tell them that lying is the only way out.

Step 6: Oh no lying didn't work on those people better blame someone.

Step 7 : Consecquence Time!!!!!!!!!

and the step I often forget Step 8: God shares his plan of forgivness, protecton and redemption.

Genesis 4

vs. 25 Adam and Eve had Cain, Abel and Seth

Genesis 5

vs.3 Adam lived till he was 930, Methusaluh till he was 969

Genesis 6

vs.3 and their days 120 .......... I don't understand whether this means that will only live till 120 or whether this means that the average human could live till 120 if they treated their bodies right.

vs. 14 How to build an Ark

1. Get cypress wood

2. coat with pitch in and out

3. 300 cubits long= 450 ft.

4. 50 cubits wide= 75 ft.

5. 30 cubits high= 45 ft.

Genesis 7

vs. 2 7- clean pairs 1- unclean pair

It will rain for 40 days and 40 nights

vs. 20 highest mountain was covered by 15 cubits= 23 ft. of water

vs. 24 The earth was flooded for 150 days

Timeline this far

Adam = 130 yr. = Seth = 105 = Enosh = 90 = Kenan = 70 = Mahalalel = 65= jared = 162 = Enoch = 65 = Methuselah = 187 = lamech = Noah --------> 600 yr. = Ark so the ark event happened roughly by my calculations at 1503 A.C (after creation) 17th day of the second month.
